Rachael Jane was born in Illinois during spring of 1973 and has sinced lived in various locations in the United States such as Louisiana, Wyoming, and Texas. Moving often from small towns to big cities as a child and always being the "new kid" has deeply influenced her way of thinking and gaining tolerance to different ways of life. Currently she is living with her two children and husband, in Kansas City, Missouri. She often spends summers living in Croatia, Montenegro, and Serbia, her husband's native homeland.
Rachael Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a minor in history from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her photography education includes The Stefan Rohner Workshop in 2004-Ibiza,Spain, The Foundry Photo Workshop- Mexico City, Mexico 2008, and The Missouri Photo Workshop (MPW) 2009 sponsored by the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Jane's experience ranges from documentary reportage to photographic instruction. She has taught photography to grade school children in Estremoz, Portugal and to adults at the Kansas City Arts Institute for continuing education. Her work has been exhibited and published locally and internationally.
Rachael Jane is currently available for commission of assignments worldwide.
