Biography
Rachael Jane has been working as a professional photographer in Kansas City and world wide since 2004 and has had a passion for it nearly all of her life.
Formally educated and trained in the fields of Psychology and Pre-PhotoJournalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, she uses her knowledge to understand people through the camera. She has attended numerous training workshops to develop her technical skills including the Missouri Photo Workshop sponsored by MU.
Working in a documentary style, she splits her time working for commercial clients and nonprofits.
She been a member of the American Society of Media Photographers since 2008. She has served on the board in multiple capacities including ASMP Kansas City Mid-America chapter president in 2019.

The core of Rachael Jane's work stands to promote dialogue, awareness and understanding between differing communities of people.
In all of her work, she aims to celebrate the human spirit.
Her vision is that every person whether it be her neighbor or an ambassador to a foreign country, present the unique and fascinating part of themselves to the camera. She aims to capture it with deep respect and honesty to endure the ever changing world.
